The Miners also made history by becoming the first team to have an all-black starting lineup. This story is depicted in the 2005 Walt Disney movie 'Glory Road'. To celebrate their victory this 16x20 framed black and white photograph has been hand signed by 14 members of the Texas Western team 13 players and coach Don Haskins. These members include Willie 'Scoops' Caber Nevil Shed Jerry Armstrong Harry Flournoy Jr. Willie Worsley Louie Baudoin David Lattin Orsten Artest Togo Railey Dick Meyers Henry Moe Iba Eddie Mullens Freddy Joe Schwake and Don Haskins coach. The nameplate includes Bobby Joe Hill and David Palacio who did not sign the photo
